The Space Operations Complex (SOC) in Temerloh, Pahang was built in the year 2002 and became fully operational in 2003.

The complex is equipped with satellite data receiving system consisting of the antenna and preprocessing system with the capability to directly receive remote sensing satellite data on a daily basis. The satellite data received ranges from low resolution data up to very high resolution satellite images.

The remote sensing satellite data received by SOC is transferred to MYSA Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur for processing (value added) for the management of natural resources, environment, agriculture, fisheries, land and area development, environmental health, disaster, public order and national security.
